Wharton, New Jersey – Anax Power (www.anaxpower.com), whose technology generates clean power from natural gas, without emissions, today announced that Court Coursey will join its Board of Directors.

Court is the managing partner of TomorrowVentures, LLC, a Palo Alto-based investment firm that provides capital and counsel to build successful businesses, has more than 100 direct investments around the world that include consumer technology, media, specialty finance, and blockchain, among others. These investments have resulted in more than twenty unicorns (companies valued at greater than $1.0B) that the firm invested in at a seed stage.
In addition to serving on Anax’s Board of Directors, Court currently serves on the Boards of TomorrowVentures, Fintiv, and Forbes Travel Guide, and formerly, among others, served on the Boards of AssuranceAmerica Insurance Corporation, Prosper Marketplace, Raine, Relativity Media, Lyfe Kitchen, Ciqual and Beauty Counter, as well as a number of non-profit entities.
Court has lectured on entrepreneurship at University of California-Los Angeles, University of Virginia, New York University, and the Milken Institute. He has served as a judge of the Outstanding Performance in Business Growth Award for Scotland’s “ScotSoft” annual dinner hosted by Scotland’s technology leaders, as well as participated in two delegations with the U.S. State Department to promote entrepreneurship in Lebanon, Israel, Jordan, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. He has been a supporter of the Summit Series, Helena Group, and Kairos Society. Coursey has also been a member of the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization, the leading organization of business professionals devoted to supporting young entrepreneurs in building companies and themselves.
Also, Court is currently involved in several philanthropic organizations, including charity:water, The Solutions Project, ArtsNOW, The Lovett School, and Common Threads. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is an avid skier and enjoys hiking, tennis, pickleball, and traveling.
